We're an apostolic family of ministers—a network of networks—built upon the foundation of relationship.

John Lambert

Pensacola, FL

John serves as the Executive Pastor of Liberty Church and Executive to the President of Liberty Network International. He is also a network leader who covers frontier mission focused workers.

John is passionate about empowering all people to live on mission with God and helping disciples of Jesus see their faith within the global context. One of his main goals is to help encourage and resource LNI ministers to continue on in their work of equipping the saints for the work of the ministry, with a view toward local and global impact. He is working to bridge the gap between the generations to create the synergy needed for a new apostolic/missional movement to come out of the network.

John moved to Pensacola to serve LNI after serving the legacy of Dr. Ralph D. Winter of the U.S. Center for World Mission in Pasadena, CA. John was the Project Manager of the rebranding initiative that merged the Frontier Mission Fellowship and the U.S. Center for World Mission into their new identities as Frontier Ventures and the Venture Center. As Director of Collaboration, he was also responsible for building partnerships between various major prayer, missions, and denominational movements.

John and his family served in Thailand as missionaries before moving to the Los Angeles area to help lead Frontier Ventures. Their ministry in Thailand focused on supporting contextualized evangelistic and church planting movements. John is a member of SEANET (South and Southeast Asia Network) where he published a recent scholarly paper entitled People of Power: How Foundational Identity and Practice Can Help Accelerate Breakthrough Among the Unreached of Thailand and Beyond.

In addition to Thailand, John’s travels have taken him to Japan, Mexico, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Germany, Ukraine, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, Malaysia, Laos, India, and the Philippines.

John is a Perspectives on the World Christian Movement instructor, a writer for Mission Frontiers magazine, a missions consultant and speaker at local churches and conferences, and a blogger at

John and his wife Jacqueline are graduates of the FIRE School of Ministry and the Brownsville Revival School of Ministry. They are ordained under LNI. The Lamberts have been happily married since 2001 and have three sons; Brayden, Aslan, and Vallen.
